Clinical Supervision for Play Therapists & Allied Health

Supervision - 2026

Jemma will continue to provide clinical supervision to play therapists and other allied health professionals in 2026. However, spaces are limited, to secure your space, get in touch by emailing jemma@wildtherapy.net .

Individual Supervision

Ongoing individual supervision is offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Depending your number of client contact hours, supervision can be scheduled fortnightly or monthly. The general rule of thumb by registration bodies is 1 hour of clinical supervision : 20 hours of client contact. Client contact includes child sessions, parent work, and other contact with clients.

Cost: $170 for (50 minutes + 10 minutes of note taking).

Expressions of Interest:

If you are a group of play therapists or allied health professionals that would like to book a group supervision time, please express your interest via email.

Group supervision details:

Maximum of 4 participants in each group
Held on a 4 weekly basis
All group members pay their portion of the fee each month. If the groups consents, recording of the session can be made available.
Group commitment is for 6 months at a time.
Group supervision is facilitative and reflective in nature. The supervisor will facilitate the session, draw knowledge, and clinical reasoning from the group by using therapeutic skills, prompts, deep listening, clinical competencies, and reflective practice models.
Supervision is a non-judgmental space where case scenarios can be bought before a professional group and shared in a safe supervision space. Information shared during supervision is strictly confidential and participants agree not to discuss the contents of the supervision with anyone outside of the group to protect therapist and client privacy.
Wild Therapy's supervision is proudly Neuro-affirming and I encourage therapists to engage in their accommodations during the sessions.

A note on supervision

It is the responsibility of the supervisee to ensure that supervision hours are recognised by their registration body. I am registered as a Supervisor Play Therapist with PTPA and a Registered Play Therapist ™ with APPTA.
