Individual Supervision

Opportunity for ongoing individual supervision is available on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Individual supervision is offered on a monthly or fortnightly basis depending on the therapist's client hours.

The general rule of thumb by registration bodies: for every 20 hours of clinic contact supervisees should be engaging in 1 hour of clinical supervision. Clinical contact includes child sessions, parent work, and other contact with clients.

Supervision individual rate is: $160 for 60 minutes

Specialist case consultation

I offer case consultation in specialist areas. These include:

  • Domestic and Family Violence
  • High conflict parenting or relationships
  • Attending Court
  • Mandatory reporting
  • Proofreading and editing reports

A note on supervision

It is the responsibility of the supervisee to ensure that supervision hours are recognised by their registration body. I am registered as a Supervising Play Therapist with PTPA.

Group supervision:

Is facilitative and reflective in nature. The supervisor will facilitate the session, draw knowledge, and clinical reasoning from the group by using therapeutic skills, prompts, deep listening, clinical competencies, and reflective practice models.

Supervision is a non-judgmental space where case scenarios can be bought before a professional group and shared in a safe supervision space. Information shared during supervision is strictly confidential and participants agree not to discuss the contents of the supervision with anyone outside of the group to protect therapist and client privacy.
